โ€œEh take picture of me pleaseโ€

See the framing of the picture.

Chairs and table in the frame more than the wife

This one win already. ๐Ÿ‘น๐Ÿ‘น๐Ÿ‘น

Weโ€™re at Guntherโ€™s for restaurant week!

Cold angel pasta with Caviar.

Actually had high hopes for this.

I didnโ€™t like the sourish hint to it and there was a weird garlicky smell wafting after.

Such a disappointing cold pasta compared to Da Luca in Goldhill, Novena.

My smoke pigeon mains.

Was ok only. Smells really good but pigeon was quite tough. Nothing like Odettes 3 way pigeon. ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿคค

Pasta like flap thing and Mushroom was not bad.

Husband roasted langoustine and tomato rice was not bad but so small. Haha.

Close up for the pigeon.

But the desserts was good.

Orange soufflรฉ! Sweet and very light and not eggy at all. Enjoyed every bit of it!

The petite four were very good too.

I like the Canale. So chewy and caramelly and vanillaey.

This afternoon, horsing around with MeiMei Irissa Puah.

Recently this Isaac has been bugging me for a meimei. Kept asking me โ€œwhen didi bigger already, can you grow a meimei for me pleaseโ€

How about a no.

Recently I saw and acquaintance wearing this top.

Went and googled the price and it was about SGD600.

Now I know itโ€™s their money and they should spent it how ever they want, but it looked really tattered to me and I just cannot imagine parting with my 600 bucks for a darn tatty tank top!!! I just cannot.

Would you buy it??

7th year Anniversary| Peruvian dinner

Happy anniversary my darling husband.

It's been 7 years since the day we said "I do's"

Love you long time.

Many more years to come!

Now, back to parenting.

Dinner at Tono Cevicheria

We had Peruvian food! Not something you have daily.

This was yellowfin tuna raw slices with burnt quinoa and plantain chips.

It's so good the burnt quinoa. Adds a smoky flavor to the tuna sashimi.

I love this ceviche of fish which is similar to raw hamachi (but it's not. It's some New Zealand fish) with their "tiger milk" marinade and crispy fried baby squid ๐Ÿ™

With mash and fried sweet potatoes at the side.

The tart lime sauce so goood.

Mains of fisherman stew.

The stew is with cumin and a Little bit of chili in it with pan fried snapper pieces and clams. It also has bits of Peruvian corn which tasted like toasted pine nuts.

Very different and really tasty in a understated way.

This is pork belly with gooseberry sauce and Peruvian yellow chili.

It's sweet and smoky kind of heat too.

Also very good. The pork tasted like a muted Chinese spice nam yee to it. So melty and tender.

We were really pleasantly surprised that the food is yummy.

Desert of short bread cookies sandwich with dulce Leche. And mango purรฉe. It's rich tasting yet light at the same time.

We whack all of this.

Anniversary sorbet. Not sure of the flavor. Haha. But on the house!

And Batdudes dessert of coconut cake with passion fruit sauce and coconut flakes.

This was ok only.

Yums. Fat face after dinner.

Isaac so kindly took a picture of us before we left for dinner.

Sweet little dude.

Selfie before dinner to commemorate a year of not killing each other!

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival everyone!

We manage to bump into our neighbors and had a mini walkabout in our condo!

Didi as usual want to hold everything and play everything.

Isaac the anxious one was so scared didi burn himself he kept asking me not to let didi hold the lantern. He was super scared.

I told Isaac it's ok because didi has to learn too.

Calmed down abit and started enjoyed himself.

Let's go for a walk everybody!

Rare times he give a big smile.

I find didi so cute walking with the lantern.

See my lantern, isn't it magnificent!

So cute.

Korkor was basically playing n splashing worth puddle of water. No video of him.

First Library Visit

Sunday afternoon post-rain activity.

Quiet time for both of them.

Since korkor is super interested in books, I don't even have to cajole and supervise him to take a look. #evenmorewin

Read read read.

Didi fell asleep just as we step into the library.

Hurrah for us! Even more quiet time.

Mummy is taking the opportunity to update dayre.

Oh didi woke up. And wanting to join the fun.

Iz me reading books to muh gengz.

Didi doesn't mind sitting on korkor even though korkor has taken over his stroller.

I recently received stack of "Happy Family" cards from Focus on the Family and introduced the "snap" game to Isaac.

He so competitive and manage to catch the gist of the game. Changed up the roles by himself like "match the colours of the cards", or first letter of the wordings besides the usual rules.

He loves it because he gets to win most games.

We are glad he enjoys playing it.

This one ah, always wanting to sweep the floor.

Has his own toys, never plays with them. Only plays with korkors toys.

He only throws his toys around. His not even interested in finding out how his toys work.

Re-starting my sleeping #scoby

Brewing continuous brew kombucha last night.

Woke up this morning to a pool of tea around the vessel!!! The jar has a leak! I think it's the part where the sprout is. So had to pour out 5 liters of tea to the biggest pot I can find and troubleshoot to find out where the leak is.

I did re tighten the sprout and make sure the silicon stopper is really aligned and tight.

Yesterday lunch date with the husband. Found a new tapas place. Pretty decent.

This is stuffed squid with chorizo on squid ink sauce.

Quite nice.

Chorizo paella.

Husbands choice. It was good especially the burnt parts at the bottom of the pan.

Suckling pork terrine. Pork was very tender

Stuffed churro was so good

Chillax baby b

Piano class

I've signed up Isaac for 2 trial piano class. Yesterday we took around united square/goldhill plaza to have a look at enrichment classes.

First we went to taekwando because he was going on and on about ninjago. But when we arrive at the taekwando center, he went all quiet and emo and refuse to step into the center.

Ask him if he's interested to join? He was watching the class in session. He said no. He don't like fighting. ๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„ ok lo.

Taekwando is a no go!

Bumped into a friend who said her daughter is going to a piano class around the corner. It's much cheaper than the mandiville class in united square.

So off we went.

Climbed up the stairs to the studio, Isaac still hasn't freaked out – good sign.
Walked into the studio and he sat on the chair – ok good sign.

Talked to the person about possibility of signing up for music classes. Said person manage to piqued Isaacs interest by asking what he likes.

Isaac obviously said don't like piano,

Don't like guitar.
Don't like violin

๐Ÿ˜‡: Oh then what do you like? You like swimming?

๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿป: *eyes lighted up* Yes I like swimming.

And she showed us around the studio on where the drums are, violin class are, pianos are.

Facebook reminded me of my bachelorette party in Bali 7 years ago.

Thanks ah for rubbing it in my face I've got 10kg more to lose.
