Happy anniversary my darling husband.
It's been 7 years since the day we said "I do's"
Love you long time.
Many more years to come!
Now, back to parenting.
Dinner at Tono Cevicheria
We had Peruvian food! Not something you have daily.
This was yellowfin tuna raw slices with burnt quinoa and plantain chips.
It's so good the burnt quinoa. Adds a smoky flavor to the tuna sashimi.
I love this ceviche of fish which is similar to raw hamachi (but it's not. It's some New Zealand fish) with their "tiger milk" marinade and crispy fried baby squid 🐙
With mash and fried sweet potatoes at the side.
The tart lime sauce so goood.
Mains of fisherman stew.
The stew is with cumin and a Little bit of chili in it with pan fried snapper pieces and clams. It also has bits of Peruvian corn which tasted like toasted pine nuts.
Very different and really tasty in a understated way.
This is pork belly with gooseberry sauce and Peruvian yellow chili.
It's sweet and smoky kind of heat too.
Also very good. The pork tasted like a muted Chinese spice nam yee to it. So melty and tender.
We were really pleasantly surprised that the food is yummy.
Desert of short bread cookies sandwich with dulce Leche. And mango purée. It's rich tasting yet light at the same time.
We whack all of this.
Anniversary sorbet. Not sure of the flavor. Haha. But on the house!
And Batdudes dessert of coconut cake with passion fruit sauce and coconut flakes.
This was ok only.
Yums. Fat face after dinner.
Isaac so kindly took a picture of us before we left for dinner.
Sweet little dude.
